Think of Bolsover District and think of the iconic attractions such as Hardwick Hall, Creswell Crags, the rugged landscape, the close proximity to the Peak District National Park; home to one of the world’s largest Brass Band Festivals and home to the Bolsover International Brass Band Summer School. A Summer School with a fun twist and innovative workshops; smaller numbers than some of the more established schools and opportunity for one to one tuition with some of the finest tutors in the world today.

For 2018, we’ve lined up some of the best tutors in the business headed up by internationally renowned euphonium virtuoso Professor Steven Mead.

Bolsover District is located in the country of Derbyshire and is nestled between the Peak District National Park and Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. With a fantastic mix of tutorials, recitals, indoor and outdoor public performances and planned leisure activities, we feel we have the perfect balance to make your stay with us one to remember.

We cater for non-participating guests and non-residential participants.

The new course brochure for 2018 which includes a booking form is available for download. If you’d just like to download the booking form, you can do that as well.
